We’re not sure how they got away with calling this rim the BSD NASA, but we’ve definitely seen more than a few out in the wild since its release.
BSD is a Scottish BMX brand with one hell of a team. Their momentum can be traced along with the success of the riders who they sponsor – just look at Kriss Kyle, Alex D, Reed Stark, David Grant and Dan Paley. Some of these guys are almost brands in their own right. BSD has kept the fire lit with great products and arguably some of the best video content of any brand, thanks to the efforts of Dave Sowerby. Transmission, BSD’s feature length team video, is the perfect example of the kind of polished, highly considered video work Sowerby produces. Pair that strong brand image with a reputation for high quality parts, and you have a genuinely strong BMX company.
Although it fitted nicely with the whole theme of Transmission, NASA in this case is obviously not the North American Space Agency. It does, in fact, stand for ‘New Age Street Approved’. Glad we got that cleared up.
“The BSD NASA rim has been designed to the BSD team spec, so it’s built for everything.”
