Here we go again! Time to reflect on another full year of UK BMX videos. Which were the best BMX videos of 2021? It’s a tough question to answer, we were blessed with some belters. Focusing in on the UK, we have the answers.
2021 was another year of challenges, travel was a ball ache, etc. None of that matters when you look at the videos on offer here. BMX makes it happen. There are great, great efforts from both home and away.
In our list this time we’ve got the full spread: rider edits, sponsor welcome edits, crew edits, jam videos, split parts, rough ‘n’ raw cuts, fully polished productions… You name it. Variety is the spice of life. UK BMX has it!
Without further ado, in no particular order…
HIDEOUT BMX: Where we’ve been hiding
This video marked a solid return for the Hideout brand / crew. After a few years of quiet, they started making moves online again with fresh T-shirts and then dropped this 12-min strong team edit. Class.
CURBSIDE DIY: Curbside 6 Mixtape
We wrote several times last year that Curbside is where it’s at. We stand by that. Top crew, always busy making new obstacles, drinking, standing around, they do it all right. There’s even time for some upper level BMX riding.
COMMON PEOPLE: Vol. 1
“Just enjoy BMX and the local scene.” That’s it. This video took us to London (like, really took us there, you know?) and showcased many of the strange little parts that make the scene what it is.
