Bird in fountain. The result of a winter freeze and a day out with the camera. Just as the sun was setting this fountain caught the light and I noticed a few seagulls knocking about, I had already been swan bothering and had some bread so decided to entice a few birds so I could get a shot of one passing the fountain. The initial problem was getting the bird in focus because everyone was at a different distance from me. Then the problem of gtting a shot of one became almost impossible as around 50 birds turned up. Eventually as the bread ran out the birds cleared off and got the shot I wanted. Lucky me.

Alki curved wall ride. This is one of my fave shots of late and was taken this winter during a dry but really cold spell. Alki had recently learnt to do this curved wall ride and was contemplating doing a trick out of the end. After faffing with different angles, lenses,lighting set ups and twitches out of the end we both decided that this tuck was worth a 1000 tailwhips.
