Roo griz air pic. This was taken with my 1st roll of B and W film on my 1st SLR camera. It was a Chinon camera and was taken on a 50mm lens. The jump was at an old tin mine near Plymouth called Harrow Barrow. None of us knew about trails as such so doing a jump over a hole seemed scarier back then. Roo was the best of our bad bunch and this pic of the griz was the best out of a roll of B and W. Another fact is that Rueben happens to be 6 foot 9 and has size 14 shoes which is why this 21” STA looks like a flatland bike.
The full pipe. This pic was taken many years ago on a trip to the Isle of Man. A lot of work went into getting to the pipe. A knotted rope, lots of bags of gravel, sandbags to dam off the trickle. Brushes to clear the water and a shit load of rags to dry it all out. Then we had 35 minutes to session it between us before the trickle broke through the makeshift dam. Dick Ed and Bungle took shifts being the torch holder while Chris Madigan and Co took turns doing the downhill run. My riding shots came out no good but this came out ok due to the fact it looks like a werewolf holding a skateboard.
