George Gap. Anyone who knows me will also know I have a bit of a soft spot for cats and this is probably my fave pic of the cats I’ve known. George was quite the athlete and must have been brainwashed by countless bmx vids being played and decided to have a go at these so called ‘gaps’. The table to the work surface was a particular fave although I must confess that food treats were used to get the right moment for this pic. It was taken on a 35mm film on my old Canon EOS with a flash bounced off the ceiling.
Stan. Stan was an old pet Ram that we used to have at mum’s farmhouse about 9 years ago. It was taken after work one day when I was lying in the garden trying to get some sun on my pasty old skin and he wouldn’t stop craving attention. He appeared to have a permanent smile on his face so I wanted to get a pic. The camera at the time was a Pentax 35 mm with a built in flash. For some reason the flash fired when I didn’t want it to which I expected to over expose the shot. When the slide came back from the lab I was made up to find this shot along with 3 or 4 others that I was happy with. Accidental photography at it’s best.
