Proper
TTXL bars
We’ve seen the TTL bars and the TTL frame from Proper, now he’s the popular TTLXL bars. These are dope, and such good value from a solid UK brand. We got the chrome ones through, and as you can imagine everyone in the office has been drooling over them. I’m pretty sure Proper HQ will get a call this week “yeah Carlo, errm the dog ate them TTLXL bars”, as they’re being installed on someones bike! Anyway, we’re talking multi butted chromoly tubing, 8.75” rise, 28.5” wise, 11 degree back and 1 degree up sweep. 810 grams and also available in Gun Metal or Black. RRP: £54.99

BSD
Crack Pipe peg
If your bike company has Mike “Jersey” Taylor on the team, you need to produce a set of pegs. It’s that simple. BSD are no amateurs of course, and they rightly have pegs available and they look solid. The Crack Pipes are on sale as a single unit, and are 4140 heat treated crmo, internally butted to save weight, 4” long by 1.4” and available in 10mm or 14mm. All tested on the harsh brick ledges of mainland Scotland on a wet Sunday afternoon, so they’re going to stand the test of time. RRP: £12.99
United
Nash cranks
I’m not being funny, but; if you’re trying to gap to smith the roof of a building you need a good set of cranks, it’s that simple. Nathan Williams does the former, and he’s equipped with the latter. The new Nash cranks from United have his name all over them. Both parties have spent time working on these to get them perfect, and here they are. The design has been kept slim, clean and simple. Nothing fancy going down here, hollowed out 22mm spindle and a proven 2 piece design mean these are strong and simple to put on/remove. Smooth rounded, precision design at the spindle to help prevent ankle damage, fully heat treated 4130 cromo arms with fatter rear and more rounded front for improved bend resistance. Available in 170mm and 175mm and even come with the installation and removal tool. 1.80lbs in weight, which includes all the bolts.
Premier league quality from United. RRP: £139.99
Eclat
Moon grips
Ok these things are crazy. Yeah, they look kind of unusual, they’re called the moon grip and I guess they remind me of something from the 1970’s. But seriously, I can’t get over how comfy they are!! I’m not sure what Shane Weston has been up to in the James bond baddie inspired Eclat laboratory in deepest Bavaria, but these things are incredible. Soft Krayton rubber, that’s the only tech specs I can tell you about. It’s all top secret. RRP: £9.99
Fit
Repeater grip
These puppies have been on the scene for some time now, and they do a great job. Simple, no frills construction and using a propriety tacky thermal plastic rubber. This essentially means your “grip” is grippy. They’re super soft and come with or without flanges. Nice OG Fit logo on there and matching nylon end plugs. Made in the US of A. RRP: £9.99
Xposure
Nuts and bolts
Here’s a novel little item from Xposure. Could be a stocking filler or something to get with the pocket money after washing your dad’s Volvo. Either way we have a “nuts and bolts” hardware kit. Wheel nuts, stem bolts and dust caps. All in super light alloy and available in Blue, Red, Gold and Purple. RRP: £9.99

Here’s a top quality all-round tyre from United. The direct is an ultra fast high-pressure tyre, which is more than happy on any terrain. More high quality Fly produce came through to us this week. Top loads have always been subject to taste, you usually have one for life, rarely opting for the front load. Fly have your back with this, weighing in at 256 grams you’re in business with the Alta. RRP: £59.99
Eclat
Diesel chain
It’s pretty much an industry standard now for chains to come with a half link, and the new Eclat Diesel chain is no different. Branded as their own version of a hard wearing “motorbike” chain, this thing is light and durable. Cromized treatment ensures it’s going to last and is available in both Black and Silver. It’s wise to keep on top of your chain, and changing them once in a while is a must. This could be your next one, keep an eye out for it in your local BMX store. RRP: £15.99
