United was conceived in the English town of Hastings in 2006 with the aim of creating one of the finest BMX bike companies in the world. Since then, it hasn’t gone far wrong, from its research on how to produce harder wearing, better looking and more responsive products, and its massive DVD projects, to a family of riders that includes some of the best in the world.
The United range of products includes Corey Martinez signature completes such as the top-of-the-line ‘Martinez Pro’, an almost exact replica of Corey’s personal ride, and packed with high quality components. Also available is the ‘KL40 Pro’, a bike backed by Kye and Leo Forte, and the ‘Supreme Expert’, built for the technical street rider.
Frames include the new Geoff Slattery signature ‘G-Slat’, still built as an allrounder suited to the streets and the trails, but with significant tubing revisions, a new engraved head tube, new dropout shape, seat clamp, higher stander height, 75° head tube angle and clearance for 2.4 tyres, all finished off with new graphics and colours.
New for 2015 is the ‘Dinero’, an ultra-responsive street frame backed by the whole United team – the line-up also includes pros Nathan Williams, Christian Rigal, Alex Valentino, Jimmy Rushmore and Jeff Kocsis, and ‘world’ riders such as Spaniard Fernando Laczko and Denis Pavlov from Russia. Many have appeared in United’s impressive DVD releases, including the Nora Cup-winning ‘This Is United’ from 2012.
