Novelty Seat Clamps

The scourge of overseas manufacture, a novelty seat clamp. These were like the spoiler of the BMX world. Utterly useless, and looked shit!

If we’ve inspired scooters in any way over the years, it’s been with this tat clogging up our bike shops. You see them down the park now, with hand grenade clamps, and multi bolted spiked chunks of aluminium holding their bars in place. It’s vile, and we need to hold aloft the smart BMXers who designed built in seat clamps on frames, saving us all from being associated with the riff raff who run a clamps that look like WW2 shrapnel.
