Carl Ruckley is a very talented spray painter who has worked on easily 75+ frames by now and has quite the client list with Pro riders coming to him such as; Ben Wallace, Alex Coleborn, JC Peiri and the list goes on…

He comes from a background of spraying cars but has his own business called Nice Touch which is his day-job. He just loves spraying bikes and told us, “I just can’t help but get involved with bikes and seeing peoples faces when they pick them up is priceless.”

Mark Webb and Carl actually took a trip over to Montpellier this year and at the ‘old age’ of 38 he has decided to start riding again, and why the hell not!? You’re never too old. Apart from being very handy with a spray gun, Carl is a really nice guy and we’ve become quite good friends over the time I’ve known him. – I asked if he wanted to do a feature for Ride UK, he seemed over the moon for the opportunity so I asked him to give us a bit of info on the projects he’s working on, along with pictures and details of his latest project for 13 year old Troy Hayward.
