FITBIKECO: A week in London

Some of the USA Fitbikeco. team spent a week in London recently, ahead of their FUK–IT shop tour around England. Get comfy for six minutes of street handling by Austin Augie, Brandon Begin, Ethan Corriere and Tom Dugan along with UK dogs Malick Cham, Olly Rendle and Phil Martin.

The guys ride a few classic spots and plenty of scruffy London crust, too. If you can get over Phil Martin’s trackies and the noise from that bike lock up, this is a solid London street vid.

More info:

Austin Augie, Brandon Begin, Ethan Corriere and Tom Dugan just did a meaty trek through the UK on the FUK-IT shop stop tour. Prior to that, they met up with some esteemed members of the UK team and spent a week in London filming this edit with TM.

Between spots that blew their minds and the American guys trying to figure what the UK guys were saying (and vice versa) the phrase of the week was unequivocally “Wait… WHAT!?”

Fitbikeco. brand description from the Ride UK 100:

Fitbikeco was founded in late 1999 by Robbie Morales and S&M’s Chris Moeller in Santa Ana, California. Since the beginning, Fit has had a legendary team of riders – Mike Aitken, Van Homan, Brian Foster, Shawn Mac, Tom Dugan, Justin Inman, Edwin Delarosa… The list goes on.

In 2010, Morales left Fit to start Cult, taking a few team riders such as Chase Hawk and Dakota Roche with him, but Fit took this all in its stride.

A number of excellent full-length team videos (F-it, Fit Life, Stay Fit, Holy Fit) have helped build Fit’s legendary reputation, both as a brand and as a group of talented bike riders.

With S&M’s plentiful industry experience backing it the whole way, Fitbikeco has remained a formidable brand that offers a full range of USA-made parts as well as a huge range of more affordable complete bikes made in Taiwan.
