Here’s something different in the world of pads and protection from TSG – a sock. It’s not just a sock though, it’s a Riot Sock! A sock fit for a riot? Yeah, the Riot Sock! Surely, if this will keep your shins and ankles safe during a riot, you’ll be fine on a BMX… Right?

OK, it’s not actually designed for use in a riot. There are very, very few products in the world that are designed specifically for riots. Regardless, this is a good product, Let’s take a look.

The Riot Sock offers TSG’s legendary level of protection within the comfort of a sock. It’s like a heavy duty sports sock, with a nice thick ribbed cuff, definitely nicely made. Its low profile and lightweight build mean it’s fine to wear under jeans, which is handy, and it fits snugly to make sure the in-built pads don’t move around.

Within the Riot Sock are several pads made of PU Impact material. There’s a 3-part shin protection and ankle pads. It’s basically the minimum protection to keep a slim design while still keeping safety at the forefront and injury on the backburner.
