GSPORT is a brand that makes relatively few parts, but each one is meticulously engineered by bike genius George French. That means GSPORT products are trusted and respected the world over, end of story.

To put it simply, then, the Van Peg is about as legit as it gets.

“I personally like steel pegs the best. I like the way it sounds, I like the noises you hear when you come off the end of a rail… You hear it vibrating like a ‘sching’ sound…
A lot of pegs are getting really skinny now but I like them a little wider, so we went with a 1.5” diameter so it grinds a little faster. It just feels more solid on the rails. Same with the length. I didn’t wanna go 4.5”, it seems a little bit obnoxiously long. 4.25” gives you a little more room on crooked grinds, derek dusters and downside double pegs.
There are three rotation positions, so if you’re grinding rough concrete or bricks you can switch that peg around and get a bit more wear time out of it.
