Éclat, started in 2008, is a parts company run by the same guys as Wethepeople. Éclat say the Pulsar grip is the end result of their quest for the perfect grip. It’s easy to see what they’ve gone for in the design, with a mixture of ‘rib’ styles to give a different feel in different places along the grip. The way this range of profiles works is to provide more softness where you put most pressure and more rigidity where you need it most, slightly reminiscent of the old Odyssey Gary Young grips. In any case, the result is that they feel like they’re already nicely worn in when they’re fresh out of the box – sweet!
