Vans welcomes a new generation of progressive BMX talent to the family, introducing Sean Ricany, Travis Hughes and 2017 Vans BMX Pro Cup World Champion Larry Edgar to the 2018 Vans BMX global team roster.

“Vans is honored to showcase such remarkable talent on the global team,” states Vans Global BMX Marketing and Team Manager Jerry Badders. “With Larry, Sean and Travis on the global roster, Vans upholds a new level of progression in BMX talent and creativity, reinforcing decades of commitment to the BMX sport and supporting the next generation of inspiring BMX icons.”

Born and bred in the Golden State, Californian Larry Edgar’s powerful riding dominated the contest scene in 2017. Proving that he favors no particular discipline, Edgar’s colossal airs and smooth style have been exhibited in countless competitions and video projects, earning him the 2017 NORA Cup Reader’s Choice Rider of the Year. Composed like a true ATV, Edgar is known as one of the most diverse BMX riders to date.

Starting his pro career as a young teenager, New Jersey native Sean Ricany is no stranger to the BMX community. With a new terrain focus and technical trick combos down to a science, Ricany’s unwavering riding style is making a heavy reemergence onto the BMX street scene.

“I seriously can’t express how excited I am to be a part of a team that I look up to,” Ricany states.

An up-and-coming young gun from Southern California, Travis Hughes’ street skills and influential riding style has only recently exploded onto the BMX street scene. Raised with a calm demeanor and genuine personality, Hughes is a BMX phenomenon that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on two wheels.

“I’m insanely stoked to be a part of the Vans family, extremely thankful for this opportunity and excited for the future,” exclaims Hughes.

Welcome to global Vans BMX team, Larry Edgar, Sean Ricany and Travis!
