NASS 2017: BMX Dirt Finals

Video by Scott Connor
Photos by Adam Lievesley & Ed Ballingal

Dirt at NASS is an interesting one – for the last two years the course has featured a step-up platform with a quarter pipe, instead of something more standard like a berm. Does this invite more of the park-style riders to ride the jumps? Probably. In fact, yes, definitely. Just look at the video above – it’s basically all ramp riders doing park tricks on the dirt. While you can’t argue with the tricks on show, we heard a few guys saying they might have preferred to see more ‘trails style’ being rewarded. For some of that, check the photos of the dudes below – style for miles!

Results:

1 – Jack Clark
2 – James Jones
3 – Alex Leo Landeros
