Whilst i was setting up for this shot we saw a tramp who’d deliberately fallen out of his wheelchair and was trying to throw himself off the bridge and into the canal. another thing was that he didn’t have any legs so he couldn’t pull himself over the rail. If thats not weird enough the person who came to stop him was another drunk lady tramp, who was also missing some limb (I forget which one). A few people went over to help the pair of them but they were both pretty hostile so in the end the police came and took them away and Mark got around this curved wall and into that narrow strip on the next set. Job done.

This was shot during the source trip along the south coast, at Decoy trails near Newton Abbot. The locals there were so good. Toby kept clicking these turndowns in like this and after a few mishaps (new £1200 flash exploding) i got one i was happy with. Originally I sent it to someone at DC but never heard anything back about it and by that time it was too late to get used in the mag, so it got filed away.
