On our way back up through France to the bowl comp in Kortrjik we passed through a town called Annecy at the foot of the Alps, not far from the Swiss border. Its probably one of the nicest places i’ve been to through riding. Most people were hungover from the night before and although we had to leave I made Jon (Taylor) pull the van up by the lake so I could try and get a team shot in the lake with a underwater camera i’d bought. A few people bottled it but i managed to get these four in even though it was pretty cold in the morning. I couldn’t get the film processed in time before deadline, so as it turned out they got all wet and cold for no reason, other than to be on the web now.

I never actually submitted this to the mag for some reason, I think i preferred the shot of Matt Preist just boosting this hip really high. I guess I kind of expect this sort of stuff from Hennon and I think he mentioned that he didn’t want ‘another fuckin’ tailwhip picture’ in the mag. looking at it now though its pretty massive.
