So I’ve been thinking… We all love bikes right? Of course we do! Well some people decide to take their passion for bikes to a whole new level by inventing their own two wheeled modes of transport and some of these are completely bonkers! So this week’s FRIDAY RANDOMS is dedicated to some of the crazy inventions we’ve seen over the years, the innovators and the experimentalists. Hopefully these unique chunks of metal will inspire at least one person to go and make something special. Who knows?
Remember the time Ryan Nyquist had a bike rigged up to do automatic barspins? This would be the scariest thing ever, having no control whatsoever as to when the bars are gonna spin. Hats off to Nyquist for pulling this clean!

This is just bizarre! A Vietnamese man decided to turn his bike into a musical instrument, couldn’t watch the entire video because I got totally weirded out by the whole thing… Hope you can last until the end!

The Sewing Machine Bike, possibly one of the most ridiculous and dangerous ideas I’ve seen was actually a thing, needless to say it didn’t really take off but I absolutely love the concept…
Trips down to your local supermarket will never be boring again with one of these bike/trolley combos. I don’t know why but I REALLY wanna hit a ramp with this thing and see what happens.
Ryan Nyquist again? This time it’s a hybrid cross between a BMX & Wakeboard. I can imagine this being bucket loads of fun on the water and I’m sure you’d all love to give this one a shot. Sending a barrel roll would be pretty intense I bet.
Ok, so this one isn’t really an invention as such but more of a demonstration of skill, balance and radness. No Forks Guy quickly became an internet legend after he was spotted pedalling through the streets of Birmingham. It’s his favourite mode of transport and he can even do tricks on the way to work. What a legend!!
