FRIDAY RANDOMS: Custom Spray Jobs

This week for our ever popular FRIDAY RANDOMS feature we are focusing on your painting skills, some of you fired up pics of your custom painted whips over on our RideUKBMX Group. The original post was by Kye Bromley who wanted to show off his Total Sandstorm with a sick cotton candy splatter effect. This sparked the idea for this week’s feature, so cheers for the inspiration Kye!

Kye Bromley: Total Sandstorm – Candy Splatter.

Jakub Bojsza.

Sick graphics on this one! What a beaut…

Ryan Baines.

Ryan Baines is one of the RideUKBMX Group admins and he does a cracking job! He must’ve seen the original post pop up and took the opportunity to post his custom painted pink AVLX.

Jakub RA Molis.

All of the colours!

Steve Barske.

“Nothing really crazy… had it powder coated fairy dust teal” – Looks so damn clean, whoever painted it did a great job!

Chris Thornton.

Chris Thornton went oldskool and painted his frame in grey primer then lacquered over it. Stealthy lookin’ street whip for sure!

 Tom Street Demon Linehan.

“Porsche mint green, sprayed myself.” – For a DIY Jobbie this looks mint. Excuse the pun…

Stephen Thomas.

I knew Stephen Thomas couldn’t resist posting up his custom pink sparkle Total Frame nicely resprayed in sparkle pink.

Aaron Street Hawk Penycate.

This is a thing of beauty. Resprayed in VW Brilliant Orange. Sprayed in Aaron’s garage a few months ago.

Japeth Thompson.

This one’s probably my favorite of the bunch… Japeth Tompson had his ALVX hydrodipped and it looks the shizznit!

Mark Broughton.

“All bout the Laird frames” – Indeed. These things are true quality, Mike Laird knows his stuff and I’d give my left knacker to own one of these babies.

Charlie Lambourne.

I remember seeing this beast of a custom job on Charlie’s ride a while back and he reposted it for our viewing pleasure. Tidy!

Samuel Tipple.

This looks dope! Should be an actual colourway it’s that good. Amazing blue paint splatter by Samuel Tipple.

Toby Gonella.

This one’s similar to Charlie Lambourne’s ride (above) but has a bit of paint splatter in there for good measure. Toby Ginella’s ride looks too damn good….

Isaac Tilly.

Black/Copper ‘street’ paint job. Ready to hit some harsh brick ledges, I’d change those grips to black or something to match but that’s just me.

Zac Powell.

Who says your colours have to match? This looks mental and kinda reminds me of my own bike with all of the random colours going on.

If you’d like to submit pictures of your own ride then feel free to join up the RideUKBMX Group and post your own within the Pinned Post I created about a year ago. I pick your rides for our Nice Set Up feature and it’d be the best place to browse through some of the finest custom BMX bikes posted by our community. Enjoy!
