Verde Bikes, based in Columbus, Ohio, was founded in 2008 with a mission to create a simple yet exciting type of BMX bike that had a clean and classic design, and that made riding a better experience. It specialises in complete bikes, but also offers a series of well-done frames and parts such as forks, bars, stems, sprockets and seats.
The limited edition, custom-painted ‘Luxe’ is the best bike that Verde builds, and for 2015 it has been loaded with custom details, including unique white Cinema VX/VX2 hubs, Éclat Onyx cranks and the Cinema VX2 switch drive rear hub. The frame is also custom painted, and comes in matte and gloss black.
Away from the completes, there is an extensive range of parts, including signature products from many of Verde’s team riders. Examples include Brian Yeagle’s signature high-speed frame, featuring a CNC machined brake bridge with Keystone logo, and a set of bars using 4130 chromoly construction with multiple butted tubing. Another stand out frame is the ‘Oxbridge’, jointly designed by Brits Matt Priest and Liam ‘Lima’ Eltham, with hammertone finish for a unique look and feel.
Rounding out the Verde Pro team are Dave Thompson, Ryan ‘Biz’ Jordan and Tony Neyer. Other members of the Verde family include Panos Manaras, Martyn Tambling, Justin Burns, Pierre Hinze, Markus Wilke, Andy Roode, Jordane Dubois, Jonny Devine, Mikael Savolainen, Roman Tenczna, Ryan Barrett and Joe West.
