All you had to do was look along the gate at the Olympic BMX final in Rio to see that over half the riders were wearing Shimano XC shoes, and by simply looking at the S-Phyre XC9 in detail it’s no surprise. With a glove-like fit and low stack height for maximum power transmission, these XC9’s are filled with the all the design and performance needed to get to that first corner first. The XC9 uses a new lightweight off road specific outsole that is more durable and provides good abrasion resistance.
