Since its recent arrival on the race scene the ICE F-118 BMX race frame has consistently split opinion throughout the race community, gaining the title of ‘the marmite (or Vegemite to our overseas readers) of BMX’. Whenever we drop a picture of the frame or complete bike set up over on our Instagram or Facebook accounts it always powers some of our biggest engagements through peoples likes and comments.

We finally had the chance to take on this machine ourselves, and once again first impressions were divided. But… a few laps in and our trusted BMX Talk ‘Test Pilot’ was 100% converted. Controlled in the air, stiff out of the gate, responsive through the rhythm section and cornering like he had been on the bike for months, he was heard saying “it rode like a dream” and we had to force him to give it back.
