From Ride UK BMX Basics
Once you’ve mastered barspins on flat or flying out of a ramp, learning them in airs might be the next step to take.
Tip: Use the left / right arrow keys

01
To begin with, hit the ramp almost straight on, you can carve into barspins, but to begin with it’s probably best if you don’t travel across the ramp too much and just concentrate on getting the bars around.

02
How high you air is up to you. You just need enough time to get the bars around. Height will give you more time to spin, but just do an amount that’s comfortable for your ability.

03
As you come up to the peak of your air, start levelling the bike out by pushing forward on the bars and bring your knees back and pinch the seat with them.

04
When you feel comfortable and the bike is level, spin the bars around.
