Hailing from the epicentre of the UK BMX community, Vans and Hastings-based Federal Bikes have partnered on a limited head-to-toe collection, including a fresh take on the Old Skool BMX. Highlighting both brand’s iconic logos, the three-piece collaboration is now available.

Taking inspiration from Vans’ Anaheim Factory collections, the Old Skool BMX features a black suede and canvas pinstripe upper. Federal’s signature logo makes an appearance overlaid on the tongue, as well as on the heel.

Ensuring it’s not just all style and no substance, the Old Skool BMX is equipped with all of Vans’ BMX technology. The shoe features Vans’ revolutionary WAFFLECUP BMX, a first-of-its-kind technology in BMX that delivers the best combination of support and durability without sacrificing pedal feel. Specifically designed and tested by and for BMXers, WAFFLECUP BMX features a herringbone underlayer that adds a second life beneath Vans’ classic gum rubber compound with a more rigid flex pattern, all reinforced like a tank.

In addition, best-in-class upgrades like PopCush technology —which snaps back and won’t pack, offering impact protection and custom energy return — and DURACAP reinforced underlays in high-wear areas, add unrivaled toughness to prolong the life of the shoe.

Complimenting the footwear, the pack also includes a Vans x Federal LS Tee and snapback, both featuring Federal’s graphic logos.
