2015 ROUND UP: Jordan Godwin

Wind back to 2014 and Jordan Godwin seemed to appear out of nowhere – suddenly he was a real force to be reckoned with. Going into 2015, he hit the ground running and had an absolute beast of a year – his name seemed to be everywhere and he picked up some big sponsors by constantly delivering high quality, progressive riding wherever he went. Let’s look through his favourite moments.

Young Bloods

Jordan Godwin:
The Young Bloods trip was definitely the most easy going trip I’ve been on, I was on it with Harry Mills-Wakely, Sam Jones, and media guys Fooman and Cal Earnshaw. Everything ran so smoothly, no problems whatsoever, the weather was on point, everyone killed it, it was pretty much what you could call the “perfect trip” with good people! And the video turned out so good…

Dark Side Of The Goon

Is was a slow and painful process that me and my best friends filmed throughout last year on Rob Harris’ mum’s camera aka the PSP. I’m pretty sure if you ask anyone that was involved what they think of it, 90% of them will say it was the biggest mess they have ever been involved in, but at the same time they will say they’re proud of it!

WTP Welcome

This was a rad trip! With Sam Jones filming for his latest éclat edit (which is savage by the way) and Cal Earnshaw. Cal had the the task of filming us both in the boiling heat, he also had to drive us to Paris and from Paris to London then from London he drove me back to Wales – Cal is the man! He also had to deal with some scum bags in Paris who tried to steal the camera gear… He took like 3 solid blows to the head from a motorbike helmet!

Lyon Frenchys Jam

A couple of weeks after Paris, me and Sam got invited back to France by the guys at Frenchys so we could ride the jam. It was such a good time, I even walked away with a bit of money! That later got blown at the after party haha…

After the jam we went back to Lyon and filmed an edit over a week and it turned out rad!

Shout out to all the guys at Frenchys for the good times and sorting everything out for us, those guys know what’s up and know how to party!

WTP Get In The Van Tour

This was my first time to the U.S. and I really can’t thank Paul Robinson enough for getting me on that trip, I think it will be one to remember, the east coast was sick!

It was my first time meeting everyone on that trip but everyone was cool and easy going, and obviously everyone killed it, and we all probably drank too much Captain Morgan’s in the back of a van but it was nothing but good times with good people!

Éclat Welcome

This was just basically made from filming slowly over a long period of time with my good hippy friend Cam Wheeler and I’m really happy with the way it came out, shout out to cam for being a G.

That Instagram Clip…

The pegs hard 5 was just something on my mind for a while… I just couldn’t see myself doing it then when I saw Mark Burnett and Alex Donnachie do them so effortlessly I had to have a go and it worked out!

Crucial in Lisbon

It was a weird one for me because I just thought it would be a bunch of good friends go on a trip to Lisbon, get some chilled clips, go home and get an edit out, but it wasn’t that at all. Everyone stacked hard and the clips from everyone are so solid, Lisbon is full of spots and the rails are insane! Thanks to Scott Summerhayes from Crucial for sorting the whole thing out, it was good times and he really came through with the apartment – it was better than my house, haha!
