Last week a kid called Dhroov Rajpal hit us up. He’s from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and he’s a BMXer. We wanted to know what it’s like riding over there, you know your average session. I’ve never been to this part of the world, but it always looks hectic. When Walter Pieringer, Nathan Williams, Aaron Ross and Tommy Dugan went over there for issue 163 we got the impression trying to ride is a nightmare. However, and as you can see from the above edit the locals do get a session in so lets find out how they do it…

“The place where we ride is so damn crowded its like if you have to practice a trick you need to wait for the crowd to move and sometimes if they don’t we have to request them.” Here though, the crew find a quiet spot for 10 minutes as they lay down some moves on flat.
Hop bars transcends every country. Especially when you slip the pedal. Jamshed Shah slinging em. “We share bikes and learn. And dont even have much choice in parts. But anyhow its fun.”In the UK we nip into Greggs or somewhere mid sesh, over here though “We don’t eat much while we ride, reason is we don’t always have enough money to eat. We just come to practice if we do eat something we order like a wrap maybe.”
