Liverpool has long been synonymous with street riding. BMX runs deep in the city and to celebrate this culture, Monster Energy hosted the UK round of The Street Series event there to coincide with four other events happening simultaneously throughout the world on BMX Day 2016.

Benny L was the host and he brought along Chase Dehart and Devon Smillie to add to the hype.

A huge crowd of riders descended upon the streets of Liverpool, coming from all over the UK and Europe. The feeling of mobbing down city streets with a massive group of riders really is something to be experienced.

Hitching a ride.

No cops, no security and no hassles. Four spots had been picked out and with a little preparation and planning, everything went off without a hitch. After a warm-up session, shit got underway at the Chinatown ledges and from there things proceeded to escalate. The tricks got bigger and the slams got gnarlier. Hammers got dropped and blood got spilled. No risk, no reward.

Lewis Cunningham – This young lad is definitely one to watch, with that raw UK Street Style. Hopefully he ditches the sweats, time will tell...

Everyone was down for a good time, to ride bikes and maybe even try their luck at winning one of the coveted Street Series rings.

Tariq had just been told he'd won the jam but he wanted to send this gap to wall first. That was some gap!
