Greg Illingworth:
“I was impressed by all three rooms, the finish is high quality and the design seems pretty good. The concrete / bowl room is the most fun for me. There’s loads of head room so you can blast. Both bowls will be fun to figure out.
The rhythm room’s ceiling is a touch low for my liking but there’s loads of lines in there, I don’t think a lot of people, especially youth, will even notice it.
I didn’t ride the street section too much but the little I did was rad. I imagine a lot of creativity happening in there, it’s packed with all sorts.”
Tom Russell:
“The rhythm room is fun! It’s like a snake run so you can just do laps after laps and still juice a few hips! Roofs a bit low for no handlers but you’ll be alright.
The bowls fun! Lines up good with everything and works great… The pool is mega! Hard to ride cause it’s tight tranny but it works real good! Hurts to land flat though 😂”
Dom Elt:
“Yeah the place was fun. The deep end of the pool was good, but the smaller transitions were real steep. Really difficult to ride them and hard to get speed for the deep end. Deep end had a lot of potential, I just couldn’t find the pace. The other bowl was alright, 6 ft quarters good transitions, just a bit boring layout, one nice hip in it, but was difficult to access it with much speed. I think I’m out of practice with that sort of stuff and also quite unfit. My legs were struggling 😅 But was fun. Felt like I’d have had a better ride if I’d ridden similar stuff recently.
The flow room was cool, there are pillars in the way of some of the hips, worked a bit like a snake run or pumptrack as much as a bowl. Didn’t spend any time in the street room. Wish I’d explored a bit more, but was trying to figure out how to ride the pool.”
Oscar Howitt:
“The street bit is really creative, the rails are quite low to the ground but that’s good I guess so younger people can use it. I’m not the best at riding pool coping bowls but it was still pretty good… And then the top room is really good, I enjoyed it!
