Ramps! The park is now 10 years old, but this is a new version It has recently found a new home in Swansea after being relocated due to COVID, which has obviously been hard on all skateparks and presented many challenges throughout.
On a plus side, the park has now found its way to the home town of local pro James Jones. The issue with the previous premises was that it had a low roof and small ramp size due to that. However its new 10,000 square foot building has no roof obstruction.
This has allowed the skatepark to build ramps of all sizes for all abilities. Ex local Pro Adam Williams is the owner & builder of the park. He tried to cater the new park towards bikes. He focused massively on building a box rhythm section like no other… The box section consists of a 9ft quarter pipe , two jumps boxes at 5ft and 6ft and a huge 19ft vert wall for plenty of speed to maintain flow throughout. I have to say, the park has many unique lines and it flows really well.
