When I show up to a new skatepark and see set ups like this I always get excited. From there, I always look to see if I have the right run up to get enough speed comfortably for it and this particular one worked out perfectly. The only problem was that I had to pedal from one side of the skatepark to the other while there was a full jam and best trick contest going on in between. I always feel bad filming that kind of stuff when it’s crowded because I don’t want people to stop their session because I am cutting through the middle of the skatepark. On the flip side, I only had one shot because we had a four-hour drive directly after the jam ended. I told my idea to a few of the team guys, Dunk, and Mastroni. All the guys were really stoked on the idea and helped me get it done. The man Jordan Aleppo stopped traffic in the middle on the run up, Dunk and Mastroni set up for the shot, and the awesome locals kept the bowl empty while I did it. It was a team effort and thanks to all those guys for the help! BMX is rad.
