We caught up with Alex Donnachie for a few words and to take a look at his current setup after smashing it at Simple Session 2015. If you hadn’t heard already, Alex won Best Trick with a completely savage 360 gap across the two orange wedges to manny 180 off! (Video at bottom of the page.)

Fraser- So Alex firstly I’d like to say a massive congrats on nailing the prize for Best Trick at Simple Session! How was the comp for you, did you have a blast?
Alex- Ah thanks, it was crazy, so much amazing riding went down so it was good to witness first hand.
Fraser- I bet you’re still recovering from the afterparty, they tend to get a bit heavy over in Estonia I hear, any crazy shit go down?
Alex- Haha the party’s were insane, so I’ve been told haha, yeah I’m still in bed few days on, lots of things went down especially as I was in a room with Dan Paley we had too much fun haha.
Fraser– Haha! It’s always a wild party when Paley is around. Cheers for firing over those pics of your current set up by the way, has anything changed on your ride recently? Also are you guys planning any new sig parts with BSD?”
Alex- I’m running some new BSD prototype bars and stem which feel really nice, no new sig stuff but we’re working on some new interesting tyre colours.
Fraser- Thanks again for your time mate, a pleasure as always! Anyone you’d like to give a shout out to?
Alex- Yeah I’d like to thank BSD and Vans for sending me to Estonia. Everyone I met or looked after me thanks a lot! Risto and all the event organisers, Simple Session is an amazing event and lastly thanks to Kriss Kyle and Dan Paley, until next time!
