This was just one of the subtle differences that Jersey offered between itself and the mainland UK. The differences – like the money, the accents, the smell of the earth, the distinct lack of litter, crime, or general sketchiness – all contributed to making Jersey a real pleasant experience. You can kinda see why a lot of families flock here in the summer for holidays. I would go as far to say that it was better, cleaner and a safer scaled-down version of the UK. It was a good little trip and a real eye opener to see where Alex had grown up. Big thanks goes out to the Coleborn family for being amazing hosts.
