If you haven’t already seen the video advert for this Quick Slic cable, you need to go onto Odyssey’s website and watch it. It’s sheer-genius, basically it features Aaron Ross hooking one of these cables up to his bike with great ease and cruising around the streets with the brake on full lock until his tire explodes. Seriously funny! All jokes aside, this cable is a revolutionary idea by Odyssey which is designed to eliminate flex in the straddle cable which is usually caused by bends. This is also designed to work with any brake that uses open ended arms such (Odyssey, Fly Bikes, Dia-Tech, Bicycle Union, Proper, Superstar etc.) The cable comes in a fixed length but Odyssey will provide sufficient housing to enable the cable to stretch for those all-important barspins.
