Kris Kyle from his recent BSD bike check, rocking the Cult Dehart Gums.
Interbike is currently taking place over in Las Vegas, and as per we see many sneaky shots filter through inculding the all new Fit Gum tyres, below.
These look really good, but whats with the Gum colour right now? We threw this one out there for you guys to sink your teeth into, and asked..
What do you think of the Gum Tyre trend?
Liam Bagdan Benjamin “Gum tyres look sick, but only when they are new, as soon as they start to wear out and get dirty they look awful, whereas black always look pretty sweet!” Good point, it’s pretty obvious they’re going to get filthy quick, would you regret it after the first couple of sessions? Alex Kennedy doesn’t seem to mind, here he is with a well worn pair of Deharts..
We asked about longevity in the Gums, are they more hard wearing than black? Bolla Péter said “I had Cult gum tyres they grip perfectly but not so long lasting, half year to die.” Six months doesn’t sound too bad for a set of tyres to be fair. Meanwhile Lewis Buxton is feeling em’ “I run the Cult ones, they lasted longer than any off my black ones, plus they look sick.”
Alex Donnachie has been repping them for some months now, will BSD be next in line to produce Gums?
Joshua Dixon is not a fan “Naa they look absolutely disgusting, horrible trend that won’t last long at all.” Straight to the point and echoed by a fair few of you including Tom Shaw “Tan Fit fafs front and back for me.”
Sam Pine was one of a few who wanted to see more colours “ffs, COLOURS!!!!!!!!” Above is a pair of Primo V Monsters from around the late 90’s. These were popular for a while, they also did all green. However they didn’t last very long! We’ll sign off with this question..
