7 Day Round Up

Peter Adam, content acquisition.

Another solid week in planet BMX. Here’s a round up of the best content we have featured over the last 7 days!

First up the WeThePeople Espana Vacaiones edit featuring Pete Sawyer and Jason Phelan. Jason took the cover of issue 173 while on this trip and what a banger it was. Watch the edit again in all it’s glory, and have a flick through the overflow gallery by Joe Bailey while you’re there!

Greg Illingworth’s behind the scenes edit was a must watch this week. Anyone working on taking their BMX riding further can get a flavour of what it’s like in the spotlight with this edit. More good work from Sir William Evans. Also in the mix is a bunch of Greg’s most recent edit’s along with a Nathan Beddows overflow gallery.

This was my favourite edit of the week, Conversation: Keith. S&M and Hoffman Bikes legend Keith Treanor reflects on the struggles he’s had in life and talks us through how he got everything back together in a make or break moment. Inspirational watching for sure.

This week’s Flashback came courtesy of the 2001 hit VHS “From Love to Hate, and Back Again” by Seventies. A good bohemian vibe, lots of travel and an incredible soundtrack from the imagination if Ed Docherty. T-1 footage a plenty in here, I wore this tape out in my early 20’s.

More goodness from the Manchester crew who brought is Strangeways and Attention Staley Bridge. Under the iron bridge they rode and although they ended up with sore lips, it just wasn’t like the old days anymore.

Anything Mike Aitken based is an absolute treat. Here’s a dope edit featuring his signature series from Fit. So good to see this guy hitting jumps again.

Tuesday past was both pancake day and #tabletoptuesday. We hit all you guys up on Facebook to send in your tables, inverts and euro’s for a special gallery featuring the legend that is Dave Vanderspek. Some of these were serious, so we picked one out and sent some prizes out.

Proper Bike Co gave us a sneak peak of their new Trawler Man frame along with this dope looking backpack. Follow the link for more info and potential new carrier of tools, wax and rolled up issue of 173.

Bike checks from both WTP/Eclat Team Manager Paul Robinson and flow rider Adam Wright. A glimpse of whats good with the German brands along with a couple of grimey Leeds riding shots in the mix too.

Your chance to bag yourself a set of the new Halo Priest wheels with our For The Win this week. Find out how you can enter along with all the details you need on these puppies.

Issue 173 made it’s appearance this week. If you’ve not managed to grab a copy yet here’s all the info you need of what’s inside, who’s going big on the cover and who won what at the Ride UK Reader Awards.

And finally, we uploaded a stack of awesome wallpapers from issue 172. Including this beast by Josh Bedford. Make your background look way better with any of these sick photo’s taken by our crew.
