Looking for a super tough hub, with reduced drag and fewer dead spots? The boys at Box have got you covered

The Box One Quantum BMX Race Hubset has been a cool 7 years in the making. The end result is a super tough hub with fewer dead spots and less drag than many other hubs out on the track.

To achieve this, the rear Quantum hub uses the type of one-piece driver commonly found on “freestyle” hubs. Each hubset includes a one-piece, 16-tooth driver supported by three large, roller bearings. Inside the driver are six pawls, each with two teeth that engage a 60-tooth ratchet ring, meaning the hub has just 6 degrees of engagement.

The Quantum front hubs are available with 20mm axles only, but the rears can be easily converted between 10, 15 and 20mm axles. Each set includes a front and rear 20mm set-up, with additional spacers included. Optional 10mm and 15mm axle kits are sold separately.
