Today I’ve been looking through old BMX ads from the eighties, tough job uh! Well, I picked out these seven as my favourite, each one I thought “I wish I rode BMX back then”. Maybe you feel the same, maybe not! Maybe you rode in the eighties, maybe you looked like this wise guy above! Either way enjoy these with your pop tarts.

Imagine dropping this outside the shop in front of some teenage girls! Then pounding a can of Pepsi, swiftly followed by a heavy Space Invaders session down the arcade.

Anti gravity was a big deal in the eighties. When you rode in those days, hitting a jump was about getting into space. These guys knew how to make you feel special.

Putting BMX in a box office movie these days, is probably the polar opposite of how the industry want to see us move forward. However, in the 80’s they even threw in an alien and a moon wheelie. Nailed it..

This could technically work in 2013. Particularly with the amount of weed BMXers are currently consuming.
