I’ll just start off by saying Greg Illingworth is possibly the most polite, humble and sound individual I’ve had the pleasure to meet during my time here at Ride UK. We’ve crossed paths on many occasion, he used to live up north and we’d frequently visit the same parks at times. He’s the kind of guy who is always down to hang out, shoot the breeze and chat some shit with. You’ll find that Greg is usually a very chilled and laid back kinda guy who knows and respects the roots of BMX.

Don’t let the mellow, easy-going persona fool you though. This guy is like a bat outta hell when it comes to riding his bike and that goes without saying if you’re familiar with his work. If, somehow, you’ve not seen much of this South African shredder’s riding before then you’re in for a HUGE treat.

This new piece for Source Park‘s LOCK IN series of videos is an absolute joy to watch. Truth be told I didn’t know Greg had one of these in the works, but man was I happy when this video landed on my news feed! Prepare yourself for some fast-paced and, lets be honest here, BURLY AS HELL riding.

Mr Illingworth is an accomplished master of blasting out huge airs, sending massive gaps, big drops and generally doing stuff that people wouldn’t even dream of doing.

The best thing about watching Greg ride is that everything he does seems to be accomplished with a boat load of style and precision. I must say this is a right treat from the guys at Source BMX. Hit that play button if you haven’t caught this vid already!
