Nik Ford 2017. It was a fun filled year for Nik Ford by the looks of this new video he uploaded to YouTube. We’ve posted one or two of Nik’s videos in the past and I must say that each edit is different, creative and shows his true love and passion for the world of BMX.
Just in case you didn’t know… Nik Ford recovered from a serious head injury he sustained a few years back which led to him being in a coma. Well, more than a few years – 2018 marks 15 years of being ‘back on the pedals’ and it’s so sick to see! Our congratulations to him.
Prepare for full pipes, x-up grinds, plenty of unique riding and interesting moves like rodeo grinds (kids who don’t know what that is – watch Ruben Alcantara in Etnies Forward…)
There’s a bunch of interesting spot locations, and quality riding all-round. Hit that play button…

Who would have thought 15 years ago whilst in a coma from a BMX crash that I would have ticked so many things off my wish list! I have been sponsored by some rad companies, travelled the world, been featured in books and magazines and meet some amazing people along the way. 2017 was a good year with a return trip to Australia and competing in the iBMXFF world championships. It’s never been about results but the situations, making memories and ticking things off that wish list.
I am proud of the last 15 years and optimistic for the future with my rad little family. I feel the song is particularly relevant and if I had the chance to did all again, well it’s something I would like to do.
