For the longest time Lewes was home to an awful pre-fab “skatepark”. That’s all history now, as the local council have teamed up with Wheelscape to bless the town with some lovely new concrete.
I dropped by the site to get a look at the final stages of the build. It’s all shaping up nicely and it’ll not be long before we can finally ride it.
The park is laid out over a good sized area with a unique styling and layout. Transition is king here, with an abundance of quarters, banks and walls. Peg fiends are catered for too, it’s got a real nice driveway with some great looking hubbas and a fun downrail.
