FIRST LOOK: Aaron Wilson

“Aaron the Ginger Ninja! Known as the king of Concrete Waves, Aaron kills it in a bowl.  It’s rad to see a young dude have so much skill and style yet be super down to earth and just stoked on the ride.”

Q&A with Aaron Wilson

– Hey Aaron, how did you get involved in BMX?

When I was younger we used to mess about on our bikes round our estate.  We only lived about a 5 minute walk from the skatepark and a few older kids I knew used to go down and one day they invited me.

– Who were the early influences in your riding?

Social media wasn’t really everyday life back then so you didn’t really see the big names sending it constantly.  But seeing Toby Gresswell and Tom Isted slay Wooden Waves was just something else!

– You’re hooked up with Fitbikeco. How did that come about?

Well this was all down to the legend Pete at Dead Sailor BMX shop, I woke up early one morning for work and I had a message from Pete offering me the opportunity to ride for them!

– What gets you pumped to ride?

Riding with a rad crew.
Sick tunes.

– Where do you usually ride? Where do you wish you could ride more?

My local is Concrete Waves.  I want to go abroad and ride!  Malaga would be sick!

– Do you have any goals in BMX?

To enjoy it and have a laugh with mates.

– Any thanks?

A massive thanks to Pete at Dead Sailor for going the extra mile for me and making the dream reality!  Also thanks to Scott at Etnies and the lads at 4Down Distribution and Fitbikeco for all the support!
