Young Gully Graves! 2017 has been a good year for Tom. He’s gone from being a relatively unknown shredder to a fully fledged Tall Order team rider and YouTube sensation. But that’s not down to many social media gimmicks, he’s got there with talent.
Tom has a sense of style and bike control that exceeds his 17 years. He just built up a fresh steed so we checked in with him in Brighton.
– Where has your bike taken you this year?
“This year has been a rad one for me! I got onto tall order in October 2016 and since then I’ve just been travelling all over the UK.
We went to Malaga for the Vans BMX Pro Cup for a few weeks, then back to Malaga another two times. The most recent trip was with all the boys to Austria, Switzerland and Germany!”
– How’s your bike riding at the minute?
“I’m not the tallest guy, so I run the 20.6 Tall Order 215 frame with the seat slammed and it feels perfect! I cut my forks down and run a front load stem to keep everything as low as possible.
Oh, and I got Shieldsy Boy (Ollie Shields) to cut down my bars by an inch or so!”
– What’s next for you?
“Just gonna keep on riding and having fun with the boys while vloooaaginnn… Haha! Hopefully get on more trips with more of the people I look up to. My main goal is to travel as much as possible!”

” I want give a huge shout-out to Sebastian Keep for everything he has done for me, all the boys at Seventies Distro for being rad, RedBull for keeping my fridge stacked and me buzzing, and the Tall Order squaaaa for putting up with me being annoying on trips!”
