It’s hard to write another article about a Malaga trip, everyone’s read one, seen the photos, and watched the videos. So I’ll keep this nice and short.
There’s a reason everyone goes; great weather, cold beer and some of the best skateparks in Europe, with a few other things in between…
So, end of November, a week in Malaga, 14 of us (including Ginge), what could go wrong…? Surprisingly not much except for a few empty bank accounts, a fine for cycling while on the phone and some chipped front teeth.
The whole week was a treat, everyone killed it in their own way, Tom and Bens riding was easy on the eye as always with a notable mention to Jonny Devine. Man of the match prize has to go to Sammo though, every spot we hit he rode the longest and killed it consistently. Off the bike though, man of the match has to go to Ginge, I’ve known him for over 10 years and he never ceases to amaze me and make me laugh.
We hit the usual spots; Rubens, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Padul and a recently built new bowl in Alora, we also had a mission to the hook but despite efforts to clean it no riding was done, it was still worth a climb to the top though. All of that with a beach day in between made for a perfect week of riding.
There’s not really much else to say really…. Steps at 10?
