As part of the Movistar Barcelona Extreme, 40 of the world’s best park riders land in Spain for the most incredible spectacle this summer. The line up has been selected via a combination of the following – exclusive invite, top placings at major league events and a riders poll. Three final spots will be awarded to the top locals in the Spanish AM JAM taking place before the PRO Qualifiers.
Heavy hitters in the line up include Nike 6.0 riders Garrett Reynolds, Dennis Enarson, Mike Spinner and Jason Phelan who will ride alongside the likes of Gary Young, Ryan Nyquist, Drew Bezanson, Brett Banasiewicz and a list of quality park contenders.

EVENT PURSE
A €20,000 purse gives €7000 for 1st and cash down to 10th place. The winner will also claim a wildcard entry into the prestigious Nike 6.0 HB BMX PRO held on Huntington Beach in California – August. Best Trick comp, winner takes all – €1000.
PARK/SCHEDULE
With a course designed by U.S. wood conjurer Nate Wessel, practice will run Friday with qualifiers Saturday and a 16 man final on Sunday 4th.
FRIDAY 2ND JULY
Riders Practice Session all day.
SATURDAY 3RD JULY
ESPANA AM JAM – Morning. Spanish only amateur rider comp – Top three podium spots go through to PRO Qualifiers.
BCN BMX PRO QUALIFIERS – Afternoon. Practice and qualifying for all 40 riders.
SUNDAY 4th JULY
BCN BMX PRO – Last chance qualifiers. The PRO riders who just missed out on qualifying get a last chance to go for the remaining spots in the BCN BMX PRO Final.
BEST TRICK CONTEST
A one-off best trick contest including the street riders from the Standby Barcelona video project. BCN BMX PRO FINAL The top 16 pros go head to head for the €20,000 prize money.
STANDBY BARCELONA VIDEO PREMIERE
Saturday Night 3rd July. A bonus for the BCN BMX PRO. The premiere of a weeks worth of street filming in and around Barcelona by 5 international teams each consisting of 4 killer street riders and 2 filmers
