It’s true! Morgan Wade once Mutiny Bikes heaviest hitting rider has now left the team. Morgan blames professional differences between him and the company for the split but maintains they all remain friends.
That’s Niki Croft and Morgan Wade that have both left Mutiny in 2009. Could it be a mutiny? Awful joke… Sorry.
It once again increases the list of ‘big air’ riders without a bike sponsor… There is now Jamie Bestwick, Simon Tabron, Mike Spinner and Morgan Wade. Any more I’m missing?
This is what he had to say…
“I’ve been on the team and a part of Mutiny Bikes since 2001. A lot of things have changed over the years, i.e., different owners and an entirely different team. I honestly feel blessed to have been a part of it for so long. Over the past year or so, Mutiny and myself have been drifting apart. We aren’t on the same page that we used to be and we came to the conclusion that I just don’t fit into the Mutiny family like I used to. Although we’re still great friends, we decided that it would be better for us to part ways rather than spin our wheels in different directions. We had a good run of eight years and it’s been lots of fun! That being said, I’d like to thank Mutiny for all support and help they’ve given me over the years. I’m very grateful and truly do appreciate everything they’ve done for me. Onward to the next chapter.” Morgan Wade
