If like me you didn’t even know Slash from Guns N’ Roses rode BMX then you’ll not be entirely surprised that he’s officially quit because it’s dangerous. The 48 year old didn’t want to jeopardise any tours with the band…

“BMX is the kind of thing, it’s not just riding around the block, it’s jumping and stuff, so as soon as I get on a bike you’re invariably going to fall. I have a couple of bikes at home and I still love it, but it’s one of those things, you’re going to fall, and if I break something before I tour the worst thing I can possibly think of is having to call these guys”

After doing some sound journalistic research via a popular search engine called Google we discovered he did like a bez about on the bike. Before he got into playing the guitar he’d be seen knocking about America doing sweet jumps and X ups. Here he is in 1978. Sarcasm aside these are actually sick.
