Going tubeless…

If you’ve got the current issue (158), then you would have seen the ‘An Insight’ article of James Sinclair’s tubeless BMX wheel. Ben Pearson tests the wheel out with great results. If you’ve read the article and fancy having faster rolling speed and less punctures and maybe want to give it a go. Here’s some more info on how to do it… http://www.notubes.com/detailed_kit_instruction.aspx

*The tubeless process should only be attempted by capable and patiesnt people. Bear in mind that the tyre will need re-sealing every 4-6 months because the sealant ends up turning into rubber and leaks air. Also, if you land really sideways with a lot of force you can lose air and will have to re-seal early.
