Total – Voltron
The Voltron V2 is the most recent version of Mark Webb’s very popular signature frame. Total have been working with Mark to improve the design further. They have added things like a tapered downtube to allow for a larger weld surface area at the headtube junction, which adds even more strength to an area, which has a high stress point. The brake mounts have been changed also, so if riders prefer to ride this frame brakeless then it’ll look a lot cleaner as the mounts will be less visible. Total have thought about fat tyre clearance too, the seat stay bridge has been widened a touch to accommodate the chunkier tyre. This is a fantastic update to an already great frame and I’m sure Webbie will be happy with the new design, there’s plenty to come from this guy in 2014 I’m sure!
