Vocal – Hitchhiker Front Hub![]()
Vocal is a fairly new brand on the scene, they’ve been around for a year or so and have brought out some pretty nice looking gear so far. They make their products in-house at Scoop Distro and have been making some very affordable and also high-end parts. The Hitchhiker front hub is certainly a clean looking hub, which uses a CNC machined alloy hub shell with a heat-treated female axle. They’re available in either Black or Polished and they both feature the Vocal logo, which is CNC machined into the shell and gives it a nice finishing touch. The hub uses the exact same internals as their rear freecoaster, which you can turn into a cassette hub, and also looks a treat! If you ride pegs I’d suggest checking out their push-on alloy hubgaurds, which will suit the hub well and keep your hub/spokes safe and sound. If you don’t ride pegs then you can always rock some of their ‘volcano bolts’ which tighten with an 8mm allen key and makes it all look a lot cleaner.
