Here’s another round of Fresh out the Box from issue 184. Fraser has cast his eye over this haul of goodness for you with great results. The WZA frame being a particular favourite of everyones here. Bang tidy.
Fit Bike Co – Motomike
The “Motomike” is Mikey Aitken’s new signature frame by Fit Bike Co (I’m sure you might of guessed that one by the name). The American made frame has been stirring up a lot of hype since we first heard about it here at Ride UK and it’s safe to say I’m not disappointed at all with the finished product. When you first set your eyes upon this, you can’t help but notice the vintage style sticker set which pops right out at you. Along with the stylish looks, the Motomike has supertherm tubing, a butted top tube and long double gussets for added strength. They’ve designed the rear end so it can take a 2.4” tyre even when the wheel is slammed and also given the dropouts (which are 4Q baked) longer slots, so there’s more room for wheel adjustment! The frame is available in Trans Gold or Trans Smoke Black as pictured and looks sweet with the vintage inspired sticker pack.
